What is mixed content?
Mixed content happens when an HTTPS page loads sub-resources over insecure HTTP. Active content (scripts, stylesheets, iframes, fonts, form submissions) is blocked outright by browsers, breaking functionality. Passive content (images, audio, video) loads but flips your padlock to "Not Secure" and may be auto-upgraded or blocked. Fix both by serving every resource over https:// or using protocol-relative // URLs.
