Title Tag Pixel Width Checker
Google truncates titles by pixel width, not character count. Measure yours against the desktop and mobile SERP cutoffs — right in your browser.
Why pixels matter more than character count
Google truncates SERP titles by pixel width, not character count. A title with 60 wide letters (W, M, K) can get cut while one with 65 narrow letters (i, l, t) fits comfortably. Character-only tools mislead you on both ends.
This tool measures your title with the same Arial Bold 20px font Google uses on its SERPs, using your browser's canvas API. Desktop ceiling is ~580px; mobile is ~920px.
Note: Google may rewrite your title or append your site name, both of which can push you over the ceiling even if your draft fits. Leave 5-10% headroom.
